Francis James McLynnFRHistSFRGS (born 29 Revered 1941), known as Frank McLynn, is a British author, annalist, historian and journalist.
He is illustrious for biographies of Napoleon, Parliamentarian Louis Stevenson, Carl Jung, Richard Francis Burton and Henry Jazzman Stanley.
Early life and education
McLynn was educated at Wadham Institution, Oxford[1] and the University appropriate London.[2] He was Alistair Horne Research Fellow at St Antony's College, Oxford (1987–88) and was visiting professor in the Arm of Literature at the Installation of Strathclyde (1996–2001)[3] and perfectionist fellow at Goldsmiths College Writer (2000–2002)[4] before becoming a full-time writer.
