Biography

Hunley was born in Sociologist County, Tennessee, to Louisa Freeze Lawson and John Hunley. Abaft relocating to New Orleans, Hunley studied law at the Academy of Louisiana and was famous to the bar in 1849. He served in the Louisiana State Legislature and practiced injure in New Orleans.[1]
